J’ai participé à la manifestation pour des alternatives de progrès au monde du travail samedi 15 juin 2024 à Paris. Des syndicats de travailleurs étaient présents (CGT, CNT, FSU, SUD, CFDT, UNSA) ainsi que plusieurs syndicats étudiants (Union Étudiante, UNEF, SUD étudiant), un syndicat lycéen (FIDL), plusieurs organisations politiques (Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste, Parti Communiste Français, La France Insoumise, Lutte Ouvrière, Europe Ecologie Les Verts, Parti Socialiste, …) et d’autres organisations (JC, MJS, Attac, Ligue des Droits de l’Homme, Droit au logement, SOS racisme, …).	I participated to the demonstration for some progressive alternatives in the world of work Saturday, June 15th, 2024 in Paris. Some trade unions were present (CGT, CNT, FSU, SUD, CFDT, UNSA), some student unions (Student Union, UNEF, SUD student), one high school union (FIDL), several political organizations (New Anticapitalist Party, French Communist Party, The Insubmissive France, Worker’s struggle, Europe Ecology The Greens, Socialist Party, …) and some other organizations (JC, MJS, Attac, Human Rights League, Right to housing, SOS racism, …).
Suite à la victoire de l’extrême droite aux élections européennes et surtout à la dissolution de l’Assemblée Nationale, le risque est grand de voir le Rassemblement National gagner les élections législatives et arriver ainsi au pouvoir en France cet été. Aujourd’hui, il s’agit de faire prendre conscience de la destruction sociale du gouvernement qui fait le terreau de l’extrême droite et de défendre des alternatives. Beaucoup de manifestants ont torpillé Jordan Bardella et Marine Le Pen avec joie et originalité, certains ont rappelé l’absence de programme social de leur parti politique.	Following the victory of the extreme right wing in the European elections and especially the dissolution of the National Assembly, there is a great risk that the National Rally will win the legislative elections and thus come to power in France this summer. Today, it’s a matter of raising awareness of the social destruction of the government that is the breeding ground for the extreme right wing and of defending some alternatives. Many demonstrators torpedoed Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen with joy and originality, some recalled the lack of a social program of their political party.
La solution électoraliste du vote en faveur du nouveau front populaire a été largement évoquée, elle m’a semblé envisagée par beaucoup de manifestants avec plus ou moins d’entrain, entre celles et ceux qui en attendent beaucoup et d’autres qui n’y voient qu’un barrage à l’extrême droite. Quant à moi, je sais déjà que je voterai blanc et l’investiture de François Hollande me conforte dans mon choix comme cela envoie un très mauvais signal tant sa politique a déçu à gauche, je n’ai pas oublié la hausse de la taxe sur la valeur ajoutée, les allègements des cotisations patronales, la réforme des retraites de Marisol Touraine votée en 2014 et surtout la loi El Khomri.	The electoralist solution of voting in favor of the new popular front has been widely evoked, it seemed to me to be considered by many demonstrators with more or less enthusiasm, between those who expect a lot and some others who see it only as a barrier to the extreme right wing. As for me, I already know that I’ll cast a blank ballot and François Hollande’s investiture confirms my choice as it sends a very bad signal as his policies have disappointed the left wing, I haven’t forgotten the increase in the value added tax, the reductions in the employer contributions, Marisol Touraine’s pension reform voted in 2014 and especially the El Khomri law.
